Rockfish Public House is a restaurant, bar and private event venue located at 110 N. George Street in York Pennsylvania. Our focus is to feature premium seafood primarily from the Atlantic Coast and Gulf of Mexico that is wild caught, sustainably harvested and/or farmed in a manner which is good for the environment. We also feature a full service bar including 12 draft beers, most of which are products from local breweries. Upstairs RPH Live features a private event space complete with a full bar. Our mission at Rockfish Public House is to provide the highest quality of food, service and atmosphere possible without compromise. We believe that guests who choose to spend time with us must consistently receive relaxed but attentive service in an atmosphere that permits them to feel as though they are on vacation right here in the heart of downtown York.

Some people become such a big part of the Rockfish family that it’s hard to imagine the place without them. Today, we get to celebrate four of those people.

Happy Anniversary to Tshyona, Jaden, Riss, and Ross!

Tshyona keeps things welcoming from the moment you walk through the door, Jaden brings the energy behind the bar and on the floor, and Riss and Ross keep things moving in the kitchen and help get the food you love out to the table.

We’re grateful for the time, hard work, personality, and countless shifts each of you has put into Rockfish. Thank you for being part of the team and for helping make this place what it is.

Weekend plans are looking pretty good from where we’re sitting. This week’s features bring a little something from the sea to the table, with crispy bites to start and a fresh grilled entrée to finish things off.

CRISPY SUPER CLAM STRIPS
Golden and crispy super clam strips served with our house-made tartar sauce and fresh lemon. A classic seafood favorite with plenty of crunch and a bright finish.

Two big anniversaries, and two people who have become a pretty important part of the Rockfish family.

This month, we’re celebrating Bryan, who has been serving up good food, good service, and plenty of laughs for 3 years.

And we’re celebrating Ashton, who has officially been part of the Rockfish story for 7 years. Ashton took some time away to travel abroad and master his craft, and when he came back to us, he’s now been back in the kitchen for another 3 years.

Both of these guys are incredibly talented, ridiculously funny, and just plain enjoyable to work with. They bring a lot of personality to Rockfish, and we’re lucky to have them as part of the team.

Happy anniversary, Bryan and Ashton. Here’s to many more years, plenty of laughs, and hopefully only a reasonable amount of chaos along the way.
