At Lamppost Pizza we are fortunate to have so many first responders walk through our doors and be part of our community, and our gratitude for those who serve runs deep.

Today, we remember all who were forever changed by this tragic day. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

26 years. It’s hard to put into words what it means to have someone be such a constant part of our lives for more than two decades.

Saul was so much more than our coworker. He was family. For over 26 years, we had the privilege of working alongside him, laughing with him, and knowing him as a friend. It’s hard to imagine Lamppost without him.

In the midst of so much heartbreak, it brings us so much joy to share that together, we raised $28,615 for Saul and his family. Seeing just how many people showed up for someone we love so deeply has meant more to us than we could ever say. To every single person who came in, donated, shared, or simply showed their support, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

We also want to give a very special thank you to Stripes of a Warrior, who made this fundraiser possible and stood beside Saul throughout his fight. Their support for Saul and his family went far beyond this fundraiser. The love, care, and generosity they have shown the Vasquez Family through it all is truly amazing. We are forever grateful that Saul had them in his corner.

We also want to give a special thank you to Blue Scoop Creamery, Nikki’s Kitchen, and Kelly’s Korner for their incredibly generous contributions to the amount raised. The way our community came together for Saul is something we will never forget.

Saul fought so incredibly hard, and through everything he was going through, he never stopped being Saul. He carried himself with the same kindness, warmth, and positive attitude we had always known him for. Even through the hardest days, he remained kind, hopeful, and caring toward the people around him. That was simply who Saul was.

We couldn’t be more proud of the strength he showed through it all. Of course we wanted more time. After 26 years, somehow it still doesn’t feel like enough.

We are going to miss him terribly. His presence, his friendship, his smile, and all of the little things that made him so special.

We love you so much, Saul. We are so proud of how hard you fought and are so grateful for every year we got with you. Now it’s time to rest. 🕊️

❤️ IN HONOR OF SAUL VASQUEZ ❤️

For over 26 years, Saul Vasquez has been so much more than the manager of Lamppost Pizza , he has been family.

For the past six years, Saul has fought one hell of a battle against cancer. Through it all, he remained one of the most positive, kind, loving, and genuinely wonderful people you could ever meet. He has touched the lives of so many employees, customers, friends, and families throughout the Lamppost community.

Sadly, Saul’s fight is coming to an end, and it is time for him to rest and be with God in Heaven. ❤️

While our hearts are absolutely broken, we want to come together and surround Saul’s family with the same love and support that Saul has given to all of us for so many years.

We are asking our Lamppost family and community to help us support Saul’s family with his funeral expenses.
