FGMC (Forsyth Gem and Mineral Club) will host their annual show September 11-13, 2026, in the Fairgrounds Event Center! 💎

This show will feature vendors selling mineral and fossil specimens, jewelry components, fine and custom jewelry, tools, lapidary equipment and various other items.

FGMC members will be available throughout the weekend to help identify minerals, to provide lapidary demonstrations and sell/cut geodes.

August has been one of the busiest and most exciting months at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. From Monster Trucks roaring through the Grandstand to free back-to-school haircuts for local students, our fairgrounds did more than host events, it brought people together.

Throughout the month, we saw friendships formed, old passions rekindled, and countless memories made. The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds is more than a destination for entertainment; it is a place where community thrives.

Whether you worked an event, participated in one, volunteered your time, or simply stopped by to enjoy the experience, we thank you for being part of what makes our fairgrounds special.

We look forward to creating even more memories with you in the months ahead!
