River City Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom River City Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom is passionate about dance and making it accessible to everyone. Welcome! We hope to see you on the dance floor!

The River City Dancers is a club open to couples and singles from all walks of life and backgrounds that are interested in ballroom dancing. We provide an open and comfortable venue for you to learn and enjoy the fundamentals and technique of social dancing. Dances are held one Saturday per month at the ARC (October-April), as well as outdoors (June-September). A lesson is taught prior to each dance by Stan and Molly Breitlow of Breitlow Ballroom (https://rivercitydancers.org/breitlow-ballroom/). The Breitlows have been teaching ballroom dance in the Winona and La Crosse region since 2008 and feel dance is a non-verbal language that allows people to communicate with friends and partners. They see dance as a way to build new skills with partners, meet new friends, network, and socialize in a safe, healthy, and fun environment. They also offer weekly dance classes from Fall-Spring - watch for class updates on our FB/IG pages & website in order to register via Winona Community Education. All River City dances incorporate high-energy Modern Hits and Classic Standards. Two styles are taught each month and every dance includes music for Foxtrot, Waltz, Single and Triple Swing, Cha-Cha, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Merengue, Hustle, and Salsa. People come from Rochester, Eau Claire, Madison, and La Crosse to enjoy our dances. There is a bar available to purchase beverages to enjoy during the evening and each themed event is packed with activities, photo booth ops, and chances to make lifelong memories while learning a new skill.

We at River City Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom can hardly wait to be dancing in the street with you to the sounds of Salsa del Soul. See you down on Third Street this Friday, September 18 from 6pm-11pm!

April Dahl will teach a beginning Salsa lesson from 6-7pm, Salsa del Soul will provide LIVE Latin music from 7-9pm. Late-night Latin dancing in the street will continue on from 9-11pm.
