At the age of 5, Nhina and her four siblings relocated from Vietnam to Iowa with their parents. Nhina and her family became rooted in the Urbandale community, where many of them still reside. In 1980, Nhina's family acquired Shang Yuen Chinese Fast Food, a business they dedicatedly ran until 2020. In the wake of the pandemic's challenges and the loss of their beloved mother, they made the heartfelt decision to sell the business. The opportunity for Nhina to pursue her passion and launch her own business became available in September 2023. Heavenly had a change in management that allowed her to take the stage and turn the dream of sharing mom’s cooking into reality. At Heavenly, Nhina and her family aspire to share their recipes to the world, offering a wide selection of Asian cuisine. We are honored to continue our family legacy in serving the community for over 30 years. We greatly appreciate your support and thank each and every one of you for playing a valuable part in our journey.
