This week's FAT PANTS FRIDAY special? The Best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich of Your Life. PROVE. US. WRONG.

Two golden, crispy Chicken Breasts tossed in Buffalo Sauce topped with four slices of melty Swiss. Swathed in a combo of homemade Blue Cheese and 1000 Island Dressing. Taken further over the top with four strips of Nueske’s Bacon, homemade Overnight Pickles and a generous sprinkle of crumbled Blue Cheese.

Then there are the fries.

House-made Seasoned Fries tossed with yet more Bacon, Buffalo Sauce and Blue Cheese Dressing— because plain fries would show far too much restraint.

Stack the whole mess two stories high. Run a steak knife through it. Add the traditional single Grilled Asparagus Spear for nutritional credibility.
Sam appears appropriately impressed. We think you will be too.

This week’s FAT PANTS FRIDAY is what happens when a Chili Dog looks at a plate of Buffalo Ribs and says, “I could take ’em.”

We start with two Grilled Andouille Sausages on a Toasted Hoagie Roll, then load them up with 6Smith Chili, Cheese Sauce, Pickle Relish and Pickled Red Onions.

Because apparently that wasn’t enough, we added four Buffalo-Sauced Ribs, a hefty handful of Sambal-Sauced Cheese Curds and a generous stack of 6Smith-Seasoned French Fries.

The single Grilled Asparagus Spear is there to maintain our reputation as a responsible dining establishment.

More than a half-pound of tender, juicy boneless Country Pork Ribs is the star of this week’s behemoth FAT PANTS FRIDAY special. (Unless you want to count Gia, Bridgette, Logan and Emma, and all the fun they had mugging for the camera and trying to devour this beast of a sandwich before our camera could capture it for you!)

We start with 10 oz. of rib meat. Toss it in a sweet-spicy, Sriracha-laced Asian BBQ Sauce. Then just keep piling on layers of flavor and texture with house-made Bacon Jam, crispy Slaw, Cheese Sauce, and a couple slices of Texas Toast to mop up the cheesy overflow.

It's all stacked atop a toasted Hoagie Roll and placed over a pile of seasoned, house-made Fries.

Finally, we garnish with a single, grilled Asparagus Spear. ‘Cause now wouldn't a sprig of parsley just look silly?

FAT PANTS FRIDAY fans, be forewarned. This started as a simple sandwich.

Then Breakfast showed up with Scrambled Eggs and Andouille Sausage.

Dinner apparently had something to prove and dropped off a half-pound of tender, tangy Asian BBQ Pulled Pork.

Lunch, fearing it would be left out, brought 5 oz. of Corned Beef.

Snack was craving carbs, so 6Smith Seasoned Fries entered the mix.

At that point, any sense of restraint disappeared. So we gleefully layered on Cheese Sauce, more Asian BBQ Sauce, Chipotle Aioli, Jalapeño Cream Sauce and 5 oz. of spicy Sambal Cheese Curds.

All piled onto a toasted hoagie.

Fortunately, someone remembered the single grilled Asparagus Spear.

There. Balanced diet.

One sandwich with an identity crisis? Three meals and a snack sharing the same bun? You decide.

Whatever it is, Lucy and Mandi seem pretty damn impressed with the result.
