A letter to our Grocer’s community,
Allow us to reintroduce our little sister, .wayzata
For almost six years, you’ve made The Grocer’s Table your morning coffee run, your casual lunch date, and your neighborhood wine & cocktail bar. You are the heartbeat of this space, and we truly wouldn’t be here without you.
A year and a half ago, we opened our sister restaurant right next door. We wanted to create a moodier, more intimate space for you, but rooted in the exact same warm hospitality and soulful food you know and love from GT.
Somewhere along the way, Eloise got a reputation for being the “fancy” sister. The special occasion spot. The “anniversaries only” dining room.
But let us let you in on a little secret: she’s not that high-maintenance.
You don’t need a milestone to sit at her bar. We want you to come as you are—in your jeans after a long workday, or popping in for a spontaneous Tuesday night plate of pasta and a great glass of wine. We designed Eloise to be your weekly haunt, just with slightly dimmer lighting.
Independent restaurants don’t survive without the steady, everyday support of their neighbors. You’ve kept our doors open and our hearts full at Grocer’s, and we would be so honored if you pulled up a chair next door, too.
There is a seat waiting for you. We can’t wait to host you. 🥂
