The Wharf turned a little greener yesterday 💚 and a whole lot more Irish! 🇮🇪🍀

Did you catch Chasing Abbey at Ireland at the Wharf yesterday? 🎶 What a show! The crowd packed the pier, the flags were flying 🇮🇪 and the energy was unbelievable 🔥 Washington DC showed up in a big way and we were proud to be right in the middle of it 💚

Nothing beats seeing thousands of people celebrating Irish music 🎻 great drinks and St Patrick’s weekend together on the Wharf 🌊 Nights like that are what make Ireland at the Wharf unforgettable 🙌

March 14th is coming in hot! ☘️ Ireland at The Wharf kicks off with bagpipes marching from Kirwans and it does not slow down until the very last pint is poured, The countdown is real and so is the Guinness 🍺🔥
The MacMillan United Pipes Band leads the charge from Kirwans to District Pier at 12:45pm and from that moment the waterfront belongs to Ireland 🇮🇪 Poehemia hits at 1:00pm, The 19th Street Band at 2:30pm, Ben David Warner Band at 4:00pm and Chasing Abbey at 6:00pm, keeping the pier rocking while the District Pier bar keeps the pints flowing until 7:00pm 🍺🎶
Over on Transit Pier the big screen lights up with Six Nations Rugby starting at 12:40pm with Wales v Italy and back again at 4:10pm with England v France 🏉 Add in Irish dancing from Legacy Irish Dance Academy at 1:00pm and Boyle School of Irish Dance at 4:00pm, plus live music from Kentucky Avenue Trio at 2:00pm 💃🎻
