Built by Francis Baird in 1766, the tavern for many years was a welcoming destination for travelers. We are re-opening the tavern where patrons will be able to revel in its rich Colonial history and soak in the same atmosphere where George Washington “had a grog” in 1783 as he recorded in his diary.

What an unforgettable evening filled with music, laughter, community, and so much heart.

A heartfelt thank you to Chuck and Paul for once again bringing such a special night to life, and for welcoming our wonderful guest, Amy Hillner Larsen to the Broadway at Baird’s stage. 🎭🎶

And to everyone who continues to come out month after month to support live music, local talent, and these beautiful shared evenings together… thank you. The energy, warmth, and enthusiasm in this space are what make these nights feel so incredibly special.

There is truly something magical about people connecting through music and storytelling, and tonight was another beautiful reminder of that. ✨
