We had an amazing day at the Special Olympics Bocce Tournament at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park! 🎉

Five of our students competed in singles matches against athletes from schools, special recreation associations, and organizations across the area. After beginning their Bocce training this spring and continuing to practice throughout the summer during ESY, their hard work truly paid off.

We're proud to celebrate their accomplishments: 🥇 2 Gold Medals (1st Place) 🥈 2 Silver Medals (2nd Place) 🎖️ 1 Participation Ribbon (4th Place)

Every athlete demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and perseverance throughout the tournament. A special thank you to coaches Kellyn Roos, Sam Morgan, and Nataly Rodriguez, who were honored to cheer them on every step of the way.

Congratulations to all of our incredible athletes. We couldn't be prouder! 💙💛

A heartfelt thank you to the Naperville Police Department for including Little Friends in this year's National Night Out! 💙

We are so grateful to have been part of such a meaningful community event and especially touched by the incredible generosity shown to the children and families we serve.

Thanks to the school supply drive, more than nine boxes of essential school supplies were collected for our students. Your support will help ensure they have the tools and resources they need for a successful start to the school year.

When Joy first joined Little Friends' Inklude studio, she learned the basics of crochet from an intern. Since then, she has continued to expand her skills, creating incredible pieces ranging from reversible designs, like a flower that transforms into a girl, to adorable animals with removable clothing, purses, earbud cases, and more.

This summer, after the loss of her beloved dog, Joy used her talent to create a special crocheted replica in her dog's likeness. Through her artistry, she found a meaningful way to honor her pet's memory and find comfort during a difficult time.

Joy is an exceptionally talented and determined artist whose creativity continues to shine. She consistently embraces new challenges, problem-solves with confidence, and finds innovative ways to bring her ideas to life. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and can't wait to see what she creates next. 💜🧶

Make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their siblings!

Little Friends' Family Respite Services program offers multi-week sessions for children ages 3-17, providing fun indoor and outdoor activities, opportunities for socialization, and memorable experiences in a supportive environment.

We're looking for compassionate, engaged volunteers to help supervise activities and create positive experiences for the children and families we serve.

Volunteering is a great way to: ✅ Gain hands-on experience for careers in education, nursing, physical therapy, and related fields
✅ Earn service hours or strengthen your college and career resume
✅ Enjoy flexible scheduling with opportunities to volunteer for one or multiple sessions

We welcome high school students, college students, and adult volunteers throughout the year.
