Beer, cheese, bread. Today we’re serving a carefully curated beer & cheese pairing featuring three beers from three lovely cheeses from and fresh baked bread courtesy of We’ll be serving these until supplies run out.

Big shout out to Nuala, and Danny of Farmstead cheeses & wines who helped us pick out some fantastic cheeses.

And another big shout out to local legend Sean ‘the bread man’ Fitch of Leeward Breads for his fantastic sourdough.

Next Sunday! May 31 - All are welcome to the first ever (as far as we know) Walnut Creek Beer Run, presented by ØL Run Club. Here are the critical details:

1. This is a VERY casual event. There’s no fee for entry, all speeds are welcome, and run-walking is encouraged.

2. Ages 21 and up only.

3. We will plan to depart from ØL (1541 Giammona Dr. Walnut Creek) promptly at 11 am, so come a few minutes early.

4. If you need a place to leave some things we can keep them secure for you if necessary.

5. You’re encouraged to get a drink at every spot, but it’s not at all necessary (know your limits!)

6. ØL Run Club meets every Sunday (normally at 9:30am.) If you’d like to get some practice come meet us tomorrow at 9:30am!

Some very special beers have arrived. After a lengthy customs battle the kegs from are here.

We’ll have a three-beer flight, and a three-cheese pairing to accompany these special beers while supply lasts. So swing by the bar May 29th

Originally a worldwide celebration of the Spring Equinox we were going to tap L’HEURE D’ÉTÉ a bièr de mars (literally means beer of March) alongside select other taprooms around the world all on the same day. Unfortunately the beers arrived late, but we can still have some fun.
