🗝️On this Memorial Day we hope you are taking some time to be thankful for all of those who came before us, caused good trouble and took part in the fight for the sake of others, not themselves. My Pop fought in WWII in a segregated unit alongside those who thought his skin was too dark and those who thought his skin was too light. He taught his daughters and sons to be “better than” rather than “as good as” and he always said “don’t be ugly, God don’t like ugly.” Life lessons that ring as true today as they did when he lived them himself. I miss you Pop, and am grateful for all that you and many others have done and continue to do to give us all a Wonderful World.🗝️
