Chef Christopher Bireley is a Vero Beach native and has been working in the business for over 20 years—3 of those years were spent as executive chef at the once popular Ellie’s Restaurant on Royal Palm Point in Vero Beach. The other years were spent travelling the world preparing exotic cuisines in the West Indies, northern Italy and Ireland as well as domestically in well-known foodie destination
s such as Napa Valley and Charleston. Adding to his resume, Bireley has worked with celebrity chefs Tom Colicchio of Gramercy Tavern in New York as well as Cyndi Pawlcyn, a celebrity chef known as a pioneer of wine country cooking. Chef Bireley’s philosophy is to source as many of his ingredients locally by supporting local farmers, fisherman and even brewers and winemakers. This concept guarantees seasonal, fresh food while simultaneously reducing our carbon footprint. Today, Chef Bireley is available for private chef services, restaurant consulting and cooking demonstrations.
