I honestly don’t know where to begin with this post.
2 weeks ago we were not at the house but was at Jeremy’s finishing the last of packing of his place that he decided he no longer needed to rent and just fully move in with me since he stayed at my place anyways. He already did mattress exchange getting rid of mine bringing his to my house bc the comfort was better, had sold his refrigerator, washer and dryer, tossed his couch. Cabinet stuff from kitchen had already made it to my kitchen. So we just had the stuff to load up and move of his other toted stuff. When we arrived back home around 9 to darkness of no lights and smoke rolling out the rear of the house my heart sank in my stomach. Everything is either fire, smoke or water damaged. We Did recover some stuff to try and remove the smoke smell but still not been successful. I’ve tried to carry on with my daily routines as much as possible to keep my my mind busy and not let myself sink in a dark hole that I have let myself do in my long ago past of emotional depression. Have I fugged up at work in these two weeks?? Yes
Have I cried uncontrollably while working?? Yes
But do you know where I want to be most other than with my pony when Im hurt?? Work! Why you may question!
Well If you came to Beef O Bradys Union, KY yesterday you know why! I love my job I love my coworkers, and I love my customers!! Anyone whoever has asked me how I’ve worked there so long has gotten the same answer I LOVE my job! Has always been about family! My girls have both been there on snow days or school closed days or just don’t have anyone to keep them days. Memories that I have people reminding me of like remember when yours girls were delivering food to tables on hoverboards?! Shhhh yes I remember 🥴🤣or the ice cream shots (no alcohol) they would make and serve to the happy hour boys and girls thought they were hot s**t serving. My point is that place is not blood relation but they are family!
And each and everyone of you all made just a normal sunday into a huge turn out that lasted all day. We had laughs, tears but a lot of fun
And maybe a few drinks.
I don’t want to leave anyone out but for everyone stepping up cleaning off tables, selling tickets, Bar backing, being basket walker, the guy behind the mic “Willieeeee”, Zorianna Pauly making some the neatest centerpieces for tables, and to those that organized that get together you all are amazing! I love every one you all! I could never put into words how grateful I am to have everyone of you all! And you all know my way around words or expressing my feelings isn’t always the best but I have appreciated everything that has been done for me. I hope some of you all got some pictures since I lost my phone most of the evening and didn’t have possession of it. 💕
