On June 2, 1965, the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky—just over 130 miles from Union—reached a massive milestone by filling its one-millionth barrel of bourbon since the repeal of Prohibition.This historic barrel was filled by T. Jeremiah "Jere" Beam and Carl Beam. The exact same year, legendary sixth-generation Master Distiller Frederick "Booker" Noe II took the helm of production at the distillery.🥃
