Come get your walleye, your smelt, your relish tray, your brats, your smoked KC-style BBQ turkey (this is criminally underrated, just ask any of our staff), your meatloaf (my dad's recipe), your buckeyes, your Indiana sugar cream pie, your Old Style, your Michigan Caddillac, and your Spaghett! Just 10 spots left for the Midwest Prix Fixe dinner! $99 per person, five courses with wine pairings of happy deliciousness. We're kicking it off for a hot start with a shot of Jeppson's Malort paired with some fried smelt and a relish tray, which should make for a fun start to the evening. We'll be moving on to brats & Leopold Bros. tart cherry liqueur, followed by the fan favorite supper club walleye paired with a Spaghett! (weird on paper, delicious in practice), and then Grandpa Joe's meatloaf (officially approved by the man himself) with an Old Style Beer, and finally, almond buckeyes (the official candy/dessert of Ohio) with a Michigan Cadillac cocktail, just to round out the Midwest. Reservations are required, and not accepted online for these dinners, so give us a call at 520.323.7739 to snag those last few spots!

If you know, you know. Ohio’s official state candy, the Buckeye! Starting on our Midwest Road Trip menu at 4 pm tomorrow, running through Saturday, June 6, you can get three of these sweet treats—we use almond butter instead of peanut to keep our establishment peanut-free—but these hand-dipped confections are addictive! $9

Buckeyes are named after the nuts of the poisonous Buckeye tree in the Midwest, and are almond butter fudge balls dipped in a thin layer of dark chocolate. Similar to a popular chocolate nut candy cup, they do have a higher nut butter-to-chocolate ratio. With origins from the 1960s, these are a Midwest classic!

Starting tomorrow evening (4pm) we launch our Midwest Summer Road Trip Menu! In addition to our regular menu offerings, we’re featuring regional highlights from the U.S. Midwest through Saturday, June 6. Pictured here is one of our Midwest menu desserts, Indiana Sugar Cream Pie (aka Hoosier Pie), with a little brûlée on the top. Rich, cinnamon & nutmeg flavors, it’s like a pumpkin pie without the pumpkin. Available starting tomorrow at 4pm! $11

This pie has been made since the early 1800s and sometimes is referred to as “desperation” pie, since many of the ingredients were often inexpensive and readily available in people’s pantries during hard times.

Staff meal today 🤩 … we feed our amazing crew for lunch, dinner and sometimes just because snacks are love. Thank you Adrian for today’s deliciousness… local focaccia from La Baguette Parisienne with spinach, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, pesto grilled chicken, red onions and aioli. Nom nom nom!
