For four decades, The Fred Eaglesmith Show, the Juno Award-winning poet of rural Canada has turned service station stories, county fair romances, broken-down tractors and gravel roads into timeless songs.

A founder of alt-country, Eaglesmith has built a devoted following with songs full of wit, heart and unvarnished truth, covered by Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and more than 120 artists across genres.

Joined by Texas-born multi-instrumentalist Tif Ginn and the full band, he brings his signature mix of country soul, rock energy and between-song tales - equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking - to the Congress Plaza on 11/27.
