We are so sad to hear of the passing of our long time friend, Jerry “Shoes” Thanasiu 💔
Shoes has been a staple at Goody’s for as long as Goody’s has been around. You could find him at the bar enjoying a can of Stroh’s over an extra large cup of ice or sippin’ on a “margy”, and signing one of the boards with his “tramp stamp”. And if you were really his friend, you knew exactly what to say to get a rise out of him. He was infamous for overreacting, but that’s only because he had the biggest heart and cared deeply about his people.
Shoes was one of a kind- to know him was to love him. He will be deeply missed by many, and will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️
