🎃 Something wicked this way pours... 🐈‍⬛

Your favorite feline-inspired brew just crawled out of the crypt! Tivvy Tmavé Czech Dark L***r drops TODAY and is on TAP at both our Tampa and Trinity locations!

The Tmavé (pronounced tim-MAHH-vey) pours black as a witch’s cat at midnight, a hauntingly smooth blend of malt complexity with flavors of baker’s chocolate, caramelized dates, and French-roasted coffee. Spooky good, with zero tricks and all treats.

Here’s the real magic: order it Řezané (pronounced jezz-an-yay), the way the Czechs intended. Half Bublina Czech L***r + half Tivvy Tmavé, poured together in one glass. It’s a potion worth sipping.

Another tip: Ask for a mlíko of Tivvy, you’ll thank me later. Prost! 🍻

Happy Birthday, Bethanie!

Today we raise a glass to the most hardworking, hilariously witty, and caring taproom manager in the b**r industry.

She’s the reason the schedule works, the private events go off without a hitch, and the taproom feels like the place you want to be. She can solve a problem before you’ve finished explaining it, and she somehow does it while making you laugh. Two taprooms, one Bethanie. We’re not sure how she does it, and we’ve stopped asking in case she decides to stop.

Bethanie, thank you for everything you pour into this place (besides the b**r). You make the Haus a home, and we’re lucky to have you.

So come on in, order something cold, and wish her a happy birthday. Just do it quickly. She’s got places to be.

Our Vienna l***r brings all the ghouls to the yard... 👻🍺

Our two-time World B**r Cup winner, Family Tradition, has been unleashed from the tanks and is flowing on tap. If you spot it on a lukr, it’s a MUST for a Mílko shot, a.k.a. Milk Tube. No tricks, all treat; trust me.

Brewed with a blend of Vienna, Munich, and specialty malts, it conjures a toasty, refined malt complexity, while noble Saaz hops add a soft, haunting bitterness. It’s a b**r that tips its cap to our brewing heritage and is frighteningly easy to drink. This l***r is dead good.

For the nerds 🤓:
Vienna l***rs get the name “Vienna” because they are brewed with Vienna malt - a malt style first kilned by a brewer based out of Vienna, Austria in the 1800s. In the early 19th century, European dark l***rs were generally roasty and very dark before Anton Dreher experimented with British malting techniques. He came home to Vienna to brew a golden-amber colored l***r with the crisp light characteristics of a pale l***r and the toasty complexity of a dark l***r. Here, at BarrieHaus, we brew an amber l***r with Vienna malt as (almost) the entire grist. Some b**r historians may argue that Dreher’s Vienna l***r of the 1840s is more similar to a modern Export l***r than today’s American-style amber Vienna l***r. In either case, we know you will enjoy it.

Expert education presented by Doctors of Occupational Therapy from Women & Girls Pelvic Health Institute and Tampa Pelvic Health. Your reservation includes a b**r, real answers to the awkward questions, and the confidence to support your daughter now and for the years ahead.

The evening:

6:00 Real Talk on Girl Health: pelvic floor therapists cover puberty and period basics, plus what to buy on the emergency store run.
7:00 Hair Styling Station: Practice on mannequin heads with coaching on brushing, ponytails, and a three-strand braid.
7:30 Q&A & Community: ask the awkward questions, meet other local Dads, and enjoy BarrieHaus b**r.
