housing St. Longtime locals might remember getting a cold one and cashing their checks at Frank's Cafe from the 1940s to the 1960s, and then grabbing a beer and a bite to eat at Pelch's Pub in the 1970s through the early 1990s. In 1996, Nick's Pub was born, existing solely of the main bar and dining room with the attached kitchen. Within two years, Nick's Pub expanded to encompass an outdoor patio with another bar and a stage for live music. In 2001, the upstairs was transformed from an apartment into a game room, complete with a third bar and several rooms that are kept stocked with the latest in bar entertainment, including pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, a state-of-the-art Touch Tunes system, and several vintage video games. In 2015, due to the recent influx of outstanding microbreweries in the St. Louis area, Nick's Pub expanded its draft beer selection from 65 to 101! We are proud supporters of local breweries and feature the latest unique brews from the likes of 4 Hands, Urban Chestnut, Perennial, Six Row, Civil Life, and Heavy Riff, just to name a few. In addition to our groundbreaking beer selection, Nick's Pub also has a fine tradition of serving excellent food and cocktails. We offer 24 sauces and 3 different styles of preparing our famous chicken wings, and have received accolades for years on our Happy Hour specials, most recently from the Riverfront Times and Sauce Magazine.
