To our Bucket Shack family,

We don’t normally make posts like this, but sometimes being a family means stepping up when one of your own is going through a difficult time.

Stacy has been part of The Bucket Shack since the very beginning. She has stood beside us through the good days, the difficult days, the crazy days, and everything in between. She isn’t just an employee to us—she is a valuable part of our Bucket Shack family.

Recently, Stacy and her family experienced a house fire, and right now they are trying to get back on their feet.

We wish we were in a position to simply take care of everything ourselves. The truth is, The Bucket Shack is going through some difficult times of our own right now, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to turn our backs on someone who has been there for us.

So we’re asking our incredible customers and community for a little help.

When you visit us, after taking care of your server, if you have an extra dollar or two that you’d like to donate—or even want to round up your ticket—we will make sure it goes toward helping Stacy and her family.

There is absolutely no pressure to give. Times are difficult for a lot of families, and we understand that completely. Even sharing this message, offering a kind word, or keeping her family in your thoughts means something.

A dollar may not seem like much by itself, but when a community comes together, a lot of little acts of kindness can become something pretty powerful.

Stacy has helped take care of The Bucket Shack from the beginning.
