30 Minute Presentations

A sensory friendly performance is a version that provides an adjusted theater experience and clips of the full production. It is modified to be more accessible for people with sensory sensitivities. These performances are designed to be welcoming and comfortable, and can include people with autism, learning disabilities, or other cognitive challenges. These performances are also ideal for parents with young children and daycare or camp groups with younger children.

Each 30 MINUTE performance will be General Admission for only $5 per seat (plus fee).

Audience members are welcome to bring their own manipulatives, seat cushions, comfort objects,

and extra support items to the show.

Additionally, these alterations will be implemented:

Visual:

Adjusted lighting to be less dramatic.

Avoided usage of spotlights on the audience.

House lights left on.

Sound:

Reduced overall volume level.

Movement and Balance:

Allowances for more movement in the audience.

Ample space provided for patrons using mobility devices and their companions.

Taste and Smell:

Eliminated usage of stage smoke or fog.

The auditions will take place at The Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort 100 Shawnee Drive Shawnee-On-Delaware PA 18356

​Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a Christmas song or a musical theater song. You will be singing acapella or with a track played on your own device. If you have any dance experience please let us know during the audition.

Please bring your headshot or a photo with your name on the back, resume of any experience you may have with your contact details and any conflicts you may have with rehearsals and performances to the auditions. No experience is necessary to be cast in the show.

We can't wait to see you all for the most magical time of the year.

Tailored for cyber, online, and homeschooled performers, this program offers the same high-caliber production experience as our popular youth intensives—such as Beetlejuice Junior, Finding Nemo KIDS!, and 42nd Street Youth Edition—during convenient daytime hours. Under the leadership of the incredibly talented Joseph Ambrosia, students will hone their acting, vocal, and dance skills while working together to stage a full production of Elf Jr.
