MEET YOUR NEW SUNDAY FUNDAY STAFF DURING OUR WELCOME SUMMER PARTY!! Every other Sunday we have Wendy and Kate switching up volunteer bartending duties. They will be adding fun and entertaining twists to your leisurely beverage breaks at the VFW. And Shawna will be filling in as well as waiting tables on Taco Tuesdays!

Help the VFW support an Auxiliary member who supported our Post. Rich volunteered his leadership as an integral part of our Sunday Breakfast Crew as the head cook. He was key to keeping it running smoothly for as long as he could. ALL funds raised on June 14th will be donated to help with medical and final costs for Rich’s care and funeral.

Ever wondered what happens to the flags you bring to us that cannot be flown anymore? Come down to the Elks B.P.O.E. #552 on Portage Ave in Sault Ste.Marie,MI on June 14 and see the actual ceremony that takes place when a flag is retired. It is very moving.

ATTENTION
Riders are wanted for a funeral es**rt for a past American Legion Rider. The es**rt is needed for this Friday, JUNE 5 meet at funeral home on M129 & 5 mile at 12:30. The es**rt will be going to Pine Grove Cemetery.

THURSDAY IS BURGER NIGHT!! The CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND THEIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS is our volunteer Grill Masters this week. While busy welcoming new businesses into our community, this group's true joy is volunteering to support our local organizations. Please join us in showing them gratitude for supporting VFW 3676 by keeping their grill busy!
Don’t forget our new summer hours open at 3:00 pm but burgers are still served from 5-8 pm.
