30 year old restaurant owner here 👋
This restaurant was once just a dream.
A dream that many people said would never work.
A dream built through setbacks, failures, sleepless nights, uncertainty, and an unbelievable amount of hard work.
I’ve worked every position in this restaurant. Dishwasher, seated guests, run food, cleaned, managed, marketed, and yes even jumped into the kitchen to make pizzas when needed.
But this story isn’t just about me.
It’s also about my incredible husband, Simone.
When so many people doubted him, laughed at him, questioned him, and told him his dreams were impossible, he kept going.
He never stopped believing in himself.
He took every criticism, every setback, and every obstacle and turned it into motivation. His talent, passion, and determination are a huge part of why Nōnnō Umberto exists today.
The people who laughed don’t see the years of sacrifice.
They don’t see the long days, the stress, the risks, and the countless hours it takes to build something from nothing.
Success isn’t luck.
It’s believing in your vision when nobody else does.
It’s showing up every day.
It’s refusing to quit.
