Jazz great Vince Lateano comes to Kerouac Alley 2/4 pm

Vince is an American jazz drummer born in Sacramento, California in 1942 who has been a fixture of the San Francisco jazz scene for over 60 years. He has toured and recorded with prominent jazz musicians including Cal Tjader, Woody Herman, Vince Guaraldi, and Stan Getz, and currently leads the Vince Lateano Trio, performing regularly at venues throughout the Bay Area.

Kit Center has been odd his whole life. Maybe it starts with a name. As a child he lived in buses, garages, trailers and attics. He began recording at the age of 6 on his father's Tascam tape machine and has been at it ever since. As an adult he traveled restlessly across the continent, eventually finding a home in Crockett CA, where he continues to write and record, backed by a band of Bay Area heavyweights: Jessie Leigh Smith on harmonica, Patrick Murphy (Sitka Sun) on bass, Bryan Lovett (Llamo) on drums, and Jason Cirimele (Dust Collector)

Noelle & The Deserters bring South-Western h***y tonk from the high deserts of New Mexico to the golden hills of California. Fronted by singer-songwriter Noelle Fiore, their music draws inspiration from the likes of Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Marty Robbins, J.J Cale, Gene Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and the great outlaw country players. The Deserters include seasoned players Graham Norwood (Bryan Scary)(Graham Norwood solo) (guitar), Alicia Vanden Heuvel (The Aislers Set)(bass), David Cuetter (Tarnation)(pedal steel), and Jerry Fiore (Sonic Love Affair)(drums), all based in the Bay Area and Sacramento.

Growing up in the Ozarks, Levi Thomas was exposed to the music that shaped him via hand-dubbed cassettes from family and friends and developed an eclectic range of influences at an early age. He spent his teens and early twenties finding his voice among the thriving DIY scene of the Midwest and South, and was eventually lured to Oakland, California.
