Sunday Brunch at Buon Cibo is almost here, and if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time to grab your tickets.

Come hungry. Our Sunday spread includes Panettone French Toast with blueberry compote, Eggs in Purgatory, roasted potatoes with peppers and onions, Italian sausage, peach and prosciutto bruschetta, fresh melon, assorted breakfast pastries and more.

Adult tickets are $25.
Children 12 and under are $16.
And yes, you can add $25 Bottomless Mimosas when you book online.

We are honestly blown away.

This week’s Friday Night Dinner has officially reached a RECORD number of orders, with more than 200 orders placed for this Friday.

The response was so strong that we had to shut ordering down about an hour ago after reaching our capacity.

To every single person who ordered, thank you. Thank you for trusting Buon Cibo with your Friday night dinner, for coming back week after week, for telling your friends and neighbors about us, and for supporting what we are building here in Scripps Ranch.

And if you tried to order and weren’t able to get in this week, we sincerely apologize. We know many of you were looking forward to it, and we are working hard to make sure we can continue growing alongside the demand.

The timing could not be better.

NEXT WEEK, we are launching our brand-new website with a new online ordering system built to better handle the scale that Friday Night Dinner has reached. We are extremely excited to share it with you.

For us, 200+ orders is more than a number.

It is a testament to the quality, value, care and consistency we are working to bring to this community every single week. Seeing this many families choose Buon Cibo for Friday dinner means more to us than we can put into words.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Sunday Brunch at Buon Cibo. Seeing the tables filled with families, friends, neighbors, mimosas, and plates making their way around the room was exactly what we hoped Sundays here could feel like.

Wine Captain Thomas D’Acquisto will guide us through six wines from Spain, Chile, and Argentina, beginning in Catalunya and traveling through Rioja, Chile’s Colchagua Valley, and Argentina.

Well... part of them. We couldn’t fit all 160+ on one table.

Yesterday was another incredible Friday at Buon Cibo, with more than 160 Beef Shank Osso Buco dinners making their way from our kitchen to your tables.

We already shared that this week’s Friday Night Dinner for Two sold out early, but seeing table after table filled with meals ready for pickup really put it into perspective.

What we love even more than seeing all those dinners packed up is hearing how much you’ve been enjoying them.

The comments. The messages. The conversations at pickup. Hearing that Friday Night Dinner has become something you look forward to each week.

Sunday mornings are about to look a little different at Buon Cibo.

This Sunday, September 13, we’re officially launching our new Sunday Brunch Buffet in Scripps Ranch.

And we’re kicking it off on Grandparents Day, so bring Nonna, Nonno, Grandma, Grandpa, the kids, or the whole family and spend the morning around the table.

This Sunday’s rotating buffet includes golden Panettone French Toast with blueberry compote and powdered sugar, Eggs in Purgatory, roasted potatoes with Italian sausage, sweet peppers and onions, peach and prosciutto bruschetta, fresh melon, and assorted breakfast pastries.

$25 per person
9 AM to 1 PM
Two seatings: 9 to 11 AM or 11 AM to 1 PM
$10 mimosas

We officially sold more than 120 meals for this week’s Friday Night Dinner for Two, and we just want to say THANK YOU.

Friday dinner is solved. And this one is made for a night when you want something comforting waiting for you at the end of the week.

This Friday: tender chicken breast stuffed with savory ham, creamy ricotta, and spinach, finished with a rich sherry cream sauce and served over fluffy mashed potatoes.

Slice into the chicken and you get the salty ham, soft ricotta, and spinach tucked inside, with that silky sherry cream sauce running over everything and settling into the mashed potatoes underneath.

What a Friday, over 100 meals sold for this week’s Friday Night Dinner for Two!

A big thank you to my compare Joe at Santa Monica Seafood for coming through with all the beautiful, fresh swordfish we needed for today’s dinner. When you’re preparing more than 100 meals, having great people and great suppliers behind you makes all the difference.

And most importantly, thank you to all of our patrons who ordered this week. Your continued support of Buon Cibo and our Friday Night Dinner for Two means more to us than you know.

FRIDAY DINNER IS SOLVED.

Tomorrow we’re serving Breaded Swordfish with Garlic Butter, White Wine & Caper Sauce + Rice Pilaf.

Thick portions of swordfish are coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and cooked until golden and crisp outside while staying tender and meaty inside.

Then comes the sauce.

Silky garlic butter. White wine. Briny capers. Spoon it over that golden breading and let the rest run straight into the fluffy rice pilaf underneath.

This is the kind of sauce you chase around the plate until there’s nothing left.
