An Important Update from Cowboys Dancehall San Antonio
To our Cowboys family,
After more than two decades of music, dancing, and unforgettable memories, it is with heavy hearts that we announce Cowboys Dancehall San Antonio has closed its doors.
We have made extensive efforts to find a solution that would allow us to continue operating at our longtime home. Unfortunately, despite those efforts, the challenges facing our business have left us without a viable path forward under the present circumstances.
One of the most significant challenges has been the ongoing construction surrounding our venue. With completion currently projected around 2028, the prolonged impact of this construction has made it increasingly difficult to sustain operations and plan for the future.
While our doors are closed, we aren't ruling out the possibility of another chapter. We remain hopeful that a change in circumstances could one day create an opportunity for Cowboys to return. However, we want to be transparent: there are currently no plans to reopen and no guarantees of what the future may hold.
To our incredible staff, loyal customers, musicians, and everyone who has walked through our doors over the years, thank you. You have made Cowboys more than just a dance hall. You've made it a part of San Antonio's history.
This isn't the ending we wanted, but we're grateful for every moment you've shared with us.
Thank you, San Antonio.
