Our Instagram account has been down since March 31st, Trans Day of Visibility, and we have been fighting to get it back ever since.
We also want to clarify something mentioned in the article. While it states that Mari Jean Hotel’s account is active, that is actually a NEW account we created after losing access to our original. Every account you currently see for ALL of our businesses is a replacement account we have had to create. This includes every account we’ve made across all of our businesses since losing our original accounts.
We are incredibly grateful to Anthem in Orlando for bringing attention to this ongoing issue and making sure our businesses were included in the conversation. Their advocacy has helped shine a light on something we have been struggling with for months.
While we’re happy to see other businesses regain access to their accounts, our fight is far from over. We deserve answers, a fair review, and the opportunity to appeal.
