Before we open our doors to the Fox Valley, we are throwing one night to remember. Simple EJ's Eve is this Thursday, May 14 at Fox Haven Square. Doors at 7. Acoustic music at 7:30. DJ and live saxophone from 9:30 to 2 AM.

Family-friendly place. But after curfew, we party like it's 1999.

From our fresh strawberry and feta salad to our signature bone-in chops, we are ready to serve up the best of what we’ve been building. The space is set, the kitchen is humming, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home.

The plates you're going to pretend you'll share.
Four reasons to clear your schedule and your appetite:

SMASH BURGER. Our custom beef blend, seared crispy, smothered in American cheese, Coca-Cola onions, house pickles, and Simple Sauce on a butter toasted brioche bun. This is the EJ's way. Restraint is overrated.

HONEY CHICKY. Buttermilk-brined, fried crisp, hot honey drizzle, roasted garlic aioli. The chicken sandwich that ruins all other chicken sandwiches for you.

TOMAHAWK PORK CHOP. 24 oz of Berkshire heritage pork, cherry wood smoked, finished over open flame. Serves 2. Or serves 1 if you believe in yourself.

CHICKEN & ARUGULA. Pan seared chicken thighs in lemon-rosemary jus over arugula, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, and pretzel croutons. The plate you order when you want to feel sophisticated but still eat like you mean it.

Round one brought you the wings, the pretzel, the tenders, the cheesy chips. Round two? This is where it gets serious.

▪️BEEF FAT FRIES. Cooked in all-natural beef tallow because life's too short for vegetable oil. Five ways to take them: Simply Seasoned, Truffle-Parm, Cotija and Calabrian Chili Chimichurri, BBQ Spice, or Gruyere Bechamel with Brisket and Pickled Fresno Chiles. (Yes, on fries. Yes, it's real.) Personal size if you're not sharing. Table size if you are.
▪️ SHRIMP. Jumbo shrimp, preserved lemon, garlic, Calabrian chili chimichurri, warm baguette on the side. House rule: leave no drop of sauce behind.
▪️SPROUTS. Grainy mustard, honey, preserved lemon, toasted parm-sourdough crumbs. These are the sprouts that convert sprout-skeptics. Come prepared.
