The historic Rochester Opera House, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, presents an annual performance season of shows for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Built within City Hall in 1908, this beautifully restored theater is the only remaining theater in the world with a unique mechanism that raises the orchestra floor at an incline for amphitheater seating and levels the floor for dancing. Traci, a small-town theater girl from the suburbs of Chicago, grew up surrounded by musical talent. She’s performed with Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals, and Dennis Tufano of The Buckinghams fame. This former “Miss Congeniality” winner is also currently nominated for Tribute Artist of the Year, (2024) for the Josie Music Awards.

There are still a few spots remaining for our Future Stars camp starting July 6th and running through July 31!!!

This is our Broadway Bound Kids session of summer camp. We invite performers aged 5-6 to be a part of this camp.

Welcome to the next generation of aspiring performers! This half-day camp will provide a one-week exploration of imagination and physicality. Our Future Stars session will learn about the talents they have in their Actor’s Toolbox – how to use our bodies to express emotions, strengthen our imaginations and concentrations with storytelling, and prepare our voices for speaking in front of others and singing solo and in an ensemble! Each session will finish with a Showcase Performance of their learnings. Camp Sessions run 9AM – 12:30PM Monday thru Friday, and will feature a short Showcase Performance at the end of Friday’s camp day!

This camp is for 5-6 year olds. Campers should be fully potty-trained and be self-sufficient in using the restroom facilities.

Financial assistance and scholarship funds are available on a case-by-case basis to any student who may need support.
