🎅 ⛄ 🎄
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Miracle on Cary (Miracle on Cary) will be returning to the Jasper on Wednesday, November 18th and we can’t wait to spend the holiday season with you! ❄️

Most of you know that our bar is first-come first-seated, but we do offer 2-hr long reservations for our one large party table that seats 6 to 12 guests.

Reservations for that one table for the entirety of Miracle on Cary (November 18th - December 30th) will open at NOON on Wednesday, November 4th on Resy! Miracle on Cary will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A link to our Resy can be found in our bio.

Just like last year, you will be asked to pay a $300 deposit when you make your reservation. This deposit will be applied toward food and beverage on the night of your visit and each party must spend at least $300. Remaining balances may not be applied to retail items. Reservations can be canceled without penalty up until 24 hours before the reservation time. As in years past, a 20% gratuity will be applied to parties of all sizes, and we do not offer split checks for parties of 6 or more.

PRO TIP: we offer reservations at 5:00PM, 7:30PM and 10PM. Since prime slots go very fast, make a list of your preferred times in advance in case your top choices are gone.

If you don’t get the reservation you want, remember that we can still accommodate larger parties as walk-ups, we just ask that you wait until the appropriate tables or bar seats become available.

MALT MONDAY!
Four Roses 🌹🌹🌹🌹 Single Barrel - Barrel Strength

It’s no secret we love Four Roses, we devote as much space to their products as we can. As we get closer to the end of this year’s run of Malt Monday, it seems like a great time to pop this bottle and celebrate with our bourbon buddies.

Four Roses is nothing short of a chemistry experiment that has gone extremely well. Utilizing 5 different yeast strains and two distinct mashbills, they are able to create 10 unique distillates which are then aged to perfection. On most bottlings you’ll find a four letter code that tells you which was used - this one is OBSV. The O and S appear on virtually all of their bottles, O stands for Four Roses Distillery, S for Straight Distillation. In this case, B stands for Mashbill B which is 60% corn / 35% rye / 5% malted barley, and V stands for the yeast strain they describe as “Delicate Fruit”. This Virginia ABC barrel pick was aged 10 years and 10 months and bottled at a barrel strength of 55.3% abv.

This is gonna be a tasty one, you can bet on that! As always, these one ounce pours are $5 all night, tonight only, and only while supplies last!

We’re taking this year off for spooky season to enjoy our new menu a little more than usual and gearing up for Miracle on Cary! More on that soon 😉 🎅

MALT MONDAY x ARCHER ELAND:
Meet the Maker with Wendy Peveich

We’ve got a special one for you today, folks! Archer Eland is a new to market line of rye whiskeys hailing from Ohio, and is the brainchild of founder and blender Wendy Peveich. We are so excited to have Wendy hanging with us at the Jasper tonight as we feature all three of her available brands for Malt Monday!

We were super excited to sit down with Wendy a few months ago to hear all about what makes her whiskeys special and knew immediately we wanted to showcase and share them at the Jasper. What better time than a Malt Monday?!

Archer Eland is distilled at Middle West Spirits in Columbus, Ohio and is made using Ohio-grown rye, with a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye. Each bottling is a testament to how a deft hand can transform a spirit into several unique finished products by playing with proof, age and blending techniques.

All night tonight we will be offering Solstice (104 proof), Aurora (110 proof) and Dark Skies: Virginia (118 proof, and a one time bottling exclusive to VA), all for $5 per ounce.

MALT MONDAY X ELIJAH CRAIG OLD FASHIONED WEEK

We kicked things off on Friday, but we have a week to go! We are featuring Elijah Craig Small Batch as our house Old Fashioned all week, and that goes for Happy Hour as well! We’ve also got some bottles of Private Select Barrel Strength squirreled away if you want to get extra fancy.

For Malt Monday it only seemed right to bring back the Toasted Barrel Bourbon for our featured pour tonight, so get in and get yourself some while it lasts! $5 one ounce pours til close or we run out, tonight only!

Our longtime bar star manager Brittany is moving on from the Jasper in a few months & we can’t believe her epic chapter here is coming to a close. Join us as we look back at some of the amazing times we spent with her over the last 5+ years. We couldn’t be more proud of all she’s accomplished, we’re thankful for the systems she built & we are so looking forward to seeing what adventures she has planned. We love you, Brittany!

As you may have guessed, we need to fill this role so we are now accepting resumes for applicants seeking to empower & support one of the best teams to have ever done it. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, with empathy, professionalism, organization and is an all around team player. We need someone who is committed to a high level of service, a high level of quality and has a background in bartending and management. We use Toast POS, Slack, 7Shifts & spreadsheets among other systems, any experience with these systems will be considered a bonus! This is a full time position & it is expected that you will work at minimum 3 shifts on the bar and floor per week. Compensation for the role will be a combination of base pay, admin stipend & tips. It's difficult to give an exact number due to the multiple types of compensation the role receives, but we can share that staff at The Jasper typically average $30-32/hr inclusive of tips / base pay & we structure the pay of the bar manager to earn between $33-35 per hour with tips & all other income components included. We also offer a PTO program, parental leave, contributory health insurance & a robust company discount.

Responsibilities will include:
• Managing a large Front of House team.
• Collaborating & coordinating with our Back of House & Bar Prep teams
• Managing & ordering a large inventory of spirits, b**r, w**e & other essential non-alcohol items
• Scheduling
• Weekly reporting & forecasting
• Managing special events
