As I share this exciting announcement, I also want to recognize the end of another important chapter.
After 6 amazing years at Hansen’s, I’m officially saying goodbye as I begin my career with the Kenosha Police Department.
Over the years, Hansen’s became so much more than a job. I’ve gained lifelong friendships, found a second family, and received endless support.
To my coworkers, regulars, and everyone who supported me along the way—thank you for the memories, encouragement, and friendships. I am truly grateful for each of you.
While it’s bittersweet to leave, I’m excited for what’s ahead and honored to begin this new chapter serving the community. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here.

The Kenosha Police Department is proud to announce the hiring of Kourtney Sucharda as its newest police officer.
Kourtney is a graduate of William Horlick High School in Racine and continued her education by pursuing a college degree before completing the Law Enforcement Academy at Gateway Technical College.
Outside of work, Kourtney enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Dylan, and their children. She stays active through volleyball, running, and working out, and also enjoys cheering on her children at sporting events. Kourtney loves spending time outdoors, especially swimming, hiking, and biking.
A passionate sports fan, she proudly supports the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Bears. Kourtney is excited to begin her law enforcement career and serve the community as a member of the Kenosha Police Department.
