It’s only fitting we celebrate in one.

Every November 10, for one day only, Outskirts Saloon becomes Tun Tavern Arizona, honoring the Marine Corps’ birthday and the Philadelphia tavern where our story began.

Our owner, Matt Teague, proudly served eight years in the Marine Corps, including a 2007 combat deployment to Haditha, Iraq, with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines. Around here, this celebration is personal.

You don’t have to be a Marine to raise a glass with us. Come celebrate 251 years of the world’s finest fighting force!

It’s almost time to tell every Marine you know “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Nonstop. All day. Every phone call, text, and trip to the bathroom. You know the drill. 🍻

251 years of being the world’s finest fighting force. You’re damn right we’re celebrating the Corps—and ourselves.

Join us November 10 at Outskirts Saloon for our Marine Corps Birthday Bash!

♠️ We’re kicking things off with a fundraiser poker tournament hosted by Lower 22 Foundation—with a $1,000 pot!
Practice round at 5:30 PM. Tournament starts at 6 PM. Bring your poker face. We’ve already heard your war stories; let’s see if you can bluff.

🎂 Birthday shenanigans start around 8 PM with the Commandant’s message, birthday traditions, and enough Marine pride to make everyone else roll their eyes. We’re going till Chesty appears.

We’ll celebrate the brotherhood, raise a glass to the Corps, and remember the Marines who should still be here raising hell beside us. 🇺🇸

You don’t have to be a Marine to celebrate the world’s finest fighting force. You just have to tolerate us telling you about it all night.
