Foodie Friday and we are showing off a Bourbon Breakfast item! (And of course we had to show off this extra fancy Italian Dirty Martini while we were are it!) The Mediterranean style Halibut Nicoisse!
Artichokes, white beans, red onions. Castrelvano olives, with locally sourced greens, a tangy Zata’ar dressing with grilled naan! The perfect brunch salad for early summer!

🌹🥃 WHISKEY WEDNESDAYS: FOUR ROSES BOURBON

To kick off our first Whiskey Wednesday feature, we thought we’d show off a staple here at The Old Whiskey Mill! Want a traditional Old Fashioned? That’s right, we are using Four Roses! This multi award winning bourbon is our go to!
For a new or casual bourbon drinker who wants an elevated yet everyday whiskey, Four Roses Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that can easily open you up to the exciting world of bourbon. And for someone who wants a more complex bourbon experience, we also carry Four Roses Single Barrel!

Fun Fact: According to the distillery’s lore, founder Paul Jones, Jr. trademarked the name in 1888. He had fallen deeply in love with a beautiful Southern belle. When he sent her a final marriage proposal, she replied that if her answer was “Yes,” she would wear a corsage of four red roses to the upcoming grand ball. She arrived at the ball wearing the four roses, and Jones named his signature bourbon in honor of that passionate romance!
