Tomorrow is not looking like a "beer garden day" with predicted temps around 50 degrees, rain, and wind up to 50 mph. So we have made the decision to cancel our live music with Dave Yaeger tomorrow. We will try to reschedule Dave for another appearance before the summer is over.

Irish Session is still a go for Sunday indoors from 2 to 5 PM.

The Shady Roosters will be back on June 6 and the Plymouth Pickle and Fermentation Festival is coming up in 2 weeks on the 13th of June.

Have you started making plans for the weekend yet?

Plan on visiting IndieFerm on Saturday and hear the tunes of Dave Yaeger from 5 to 8pm. You might know Dave as the singing science teacher at Plymouth South High School. Or maybe you know him from The David James Duo or Tupelo Honey or Speedtrap, that is just a sampling of his musical projects. He will be solo this time. Dave has a million songs (almost) and is always entertaining. Check out https://www.facebook.com/p/Daveyaegermusic-100048913266644/ for more about Dave Yaeger.

And on Sunday we will have another edition of our bi-weekly Irish Session with Stephen Lindsay and Friends from 2 to 5pm. They play an incredible variety of traditional Irish tunes and some modern songs as well. They usually sneak in a Bob Dylan or John Prine song also. And we will run our Irish Session beer can special again, just $5 for a 16 oz can of Irish Riviera Red Ale. Sunday only. Check out Steve and his musical schedule here: https://www.facebook.com/TheLindsaysMusic/

We will be serving 12 different beers on tap, 3 non-alcoholic kombuchas, Margarita Seltzer, hard apple cider, two different red wines and 2 white wines, and our brand new Orange Blossom Mead. All made in-house at 127 Camelot Drive in Plymouth.

And in 2 weeks, on June 13th, it's the 3rd annual Plymouth Pickle and Fermentation Festival at IndieFerm. A day of pickled and fermented fun.

Irish acoustic, trad and contemporary and more.

Stephen Lindsay on Guitar and Vocals.
Ted Mello on upright Bass,Vocals .

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the brewery yesterday for oysters, treats, and tasty beverages! The Mass Oyster Project coordinated the oyster social event. Jeanne and Sam were there to talk about the great work they do using oyster shells to protect and restore MA coastlines. Learn more at https://massoyster.org

The oysters were from Duxbury and shucked by Henry, owner of Cape Oyster Experiences https://capeoysterexperiences.com/
Henry brought 300 oysters and ran out in 2 hrs; he said he'll bring more when he returns to IndieFerm on July 11th. Can't wait!!

Hopefully you got to try some of the amazing food hand-made by Wilde Flour Bakery. They are always coming up with something new to tempt your tastebuds. Check out their delicious creations at https://www.facebook.com/p/Wilde-Flour-61556809110350/

Thanks also to The Cordobas and the Shady Roosters for entertaining everyone with their cool tunes and rockin' beats.

And special thanks to Larry and Bob for working so dang hard to make the event successful! Hopefully you are taking a well-deserved break today.

If you missed all the fun, stop by the taproom today and get the low down from Paul.

We are excited to report that Wilde Flour is joining us today with their sweet and savory treats - pairs perfectly with oysters! We are obsessed with their chicken pot pies, lemon blueberry cake, and raspberry pop tarts! https://www.facebook.com/p/Wilde-Flour-61556809110350/

It's Memorial Day Weekend already? Really? It seems like the snow just finished melting. But this weekend really is the unofficial official kick off to summer. And we are going to celebrate at IndieFerm with some Cluckin' and Shuckin' on Saturday.

The Mass Oyster Project is going to join us for Buck a Shuck oysters in the beer garden starting at 2pm. They are bringing a pile of local oysters from PKD bay (that's Plymouth-Kingston-Duxbury) so get 'em while they last. The mission of the Mass Oyster Project is to protect and restore Massachusetts’ coastlines with oysters. And we get to eat some of them too. Learn more at https://www.massoyster.org/ or stop by IndieFerm tomorrow and talk with them in person.

At 3pm, the Cordobas will take the stage (tent) with a set of surf music. How appropriate, surf music and oysters fresh from the briny deep!! They are a great band. Even if you don't know much about surf music (think Dick Dale, the Surfaris, the Ventures, the Trashmen, etc), you will enjoy their set.

Then at about 5pm, the Shady Roosters will begin their summer residency under the big top in the beer garden with rockabilly, blues, real country, and more roots than an oak tree. The Shady Roosters will play almost every other Saturday from 5 to 8 pm with other bands on the other weekends. For example, Dave Yeager will be playing the following weekend (May 30) and we will have the Dogmatics back on July 18, and Johnny Spampinato and the Value Leaders on August 22.

Cluckin' and Shuckin' indeed!!

Irish Session with Stephen Lindsay and Friends returns to the taproom this Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. Traditional and new Irish music, jigs, reels, singalongs, and a lot of fun.

We are all out of Irish Riviera Red Ale on draft but we have plenty of it in cans so we will be having a one-day only "can pour special" - a 16oz can of Irish Riviera Red Ale for $5 (that's $3 less than a draft beer).

And before we even get to Sunday, remember that tomorrow (Sat May 16th) is out first ever Bizarre Bazaar. It's a yard sale and arts and crafts fest rolled into one parking lot at the brewery.

In addition to several people bringing yard sale stuff to sell, we also have Tom the Pizza Guy, Wilde Flour with tasty snacks (they make the BEST chicken pot pie in the world), local author William Goyette, local artisan Mark Woodbury (makes beautiful wood cutting boards), and local artist and face painter Sybil. Come meet Peter and learn about bokashi composting also.

Black Feather Horse Rescue will also be raffling off a cool kayak, courtesy of Billington Sea Kayak.

Also on Saturday, at 3PM, we will be having a "celebration of life" for one of our original regular customers at IndieFerm. David found us on his way home from work shortly arter we opened 10 years ago and soon became a fixture at the taproom. He was always ready and willing to talk to new customers and make them feel at home. He passed away recently so we will be celebrating David this Saturday afternoon. If you knew him, please stop by if you can.

This Saturday is our Bizarre Bazaar from 10 am to 2 pm, in conjunction with Sustainable Plymouth's Town Wide Yard Sale. It's a combination yard sale and flea market, with some arts/crafts, and food vendors added to the mix.

The weather is going to be nice and warm and I hear the Hearth Bakery, located right next to us, is now selling mammoth ice cream cookie sandwiches. Gotta try one of those.

We still have some space if anyone wants to come sell their stuff (email us at [email protected]). If you just can't bring yourself to do some spring cleaning yet, then just come check out our Bizarre Bazaar - you might find something you can't live without (like the chicken pot pies, says Rose!)

When Taco Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, and Bad Larry Tuesday converge harmonically onto one day, you do not ignore it. You make tacos and taco pizzas in the taproom. So tonight only, we will have our South Shore Bar style pizzas loaded with taco fixin's for you and Mariachi music on the speakers. Cultural appropriation? Maybe a little. But if we can all pretend to be Irish for a day in March, why wouldn't we be Mexican for a day in May?

And, we will also have several Mexican-themed fermented beverages to enjoy with your tacos or pizzas including Tepache, Margarita Seltzer, and more.

We will be open from 4 to 7 PM.
