🚨CHEF — NOW HIRING
Gillis Tavern is looking for an experienced, hands-on Chef to lead our kitchen as we move into our new location on Main Street.
Position Requirements
    •Minimum 55 hours per week
    •Competitive pay based on experience
    •Two weeks of paid vacation
    ◦Blackout dates apply
    •Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
    •Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Key Responsibilities
    •Menu Design & Ex*****on — Create, develop, cost, and execute a high-quality menu while maintaining consistency and quality.
    •Food Cost Control — Manage food purchasing, portioning, waste, inventory, and overall food costs.
    •Kitchen Labor Control — Build and manage kitchen schedules, labor costs, productivity, and staffing needs.
    •Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team.
    •Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, organization, and consistency.
    •Work closely with ownership and management to help build and grow the restaurant.
