An Aussie walks into a Kentucky distillery… 🦘🥃

This Thursday, Oct 29, Barley & Smoke welcomes Greg Keeley , founder, distiller and the Larrikin himself, of . "Larrikin" is Aussie slang for a good-hearted troublemaker. That spirit lives in every bottle.

Leading the lineup is the Bottled-in-Bond: 100 proof, rich, intense and built for sipping neat. A serious pour from a serious distiller. We'll also be pouring the Small Batch, Single Barrel Rye and the one-of-a-kind Rosewater Bourbon.

Chef Mike is going Down Unda with a southern twist:

🥧 The Bluegrass Bogan: Aussie meat pie with braised beef, brown gravy, Vegemite and a southern short crust. $15

🐖 Outback & Oak: Duroc pork belly, green apple purée, macadamia dukkah and pickled mustard seed. $17

Executive Chef Michael Mahalick has an always changing menu with unique specials. On a recent update, he added an Iberico pork hanger streak with Patatas a La Probre.

The Iberian pig lineage can be traced back some 3,000 years. Prized for its amazing marbling, it is often referred to as the “Wagyu” of pork.
