Meet Stacy Surapine & Bailey Surapine-Meen – A Family Story, Shared Over W**e.
For Stacy Surapine, co-owner of The W**e Bar, 37 years of flying international routes meant a lifetime of collecting more than miles. She collected places, traditions, stories, and a profound appreciation for the people and cultures she encountered along the way.
Together with her husband, Michael—an airline pilot, co-owner, and Sommelier—those experiences became the inspiration for The W**e Bar: an intimate, beautifully considered space shaped by the places they have traveled and the belief that the most meaningful moments in life are often shared around a table. Their daughter, Bailey Surapine-Meen, grew up immersed in that world. After leaving a career in law, she followed her own passion for w**e, hospitality, and connection, bringing a fresh perspective and a genuine gift for making people feel instantly at ease.
Our family created The W**e Bar as a reflection of something deeply personal: the way families pass down what matters most. It is a place for a mother and daughter to meet after a long week, for parents to celebrate with their children, for old friends to reconnect, and for new traditions to begin. More than 150 w**es by the glass, 32 self-serve dispensers, thoughtfully curated charcuterie, small plates, and a selection of boutique, mission-driven w**es invite guests to slow down and discover something extraordinary. We intentionally support producers who value sustainability, stewardship, social responsibility, and the communities around them—because we believe where we gather, what we choose, and who we support all matter. At the heart of it all is Stacy’s philosophy: “Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling is your trademark.” It is the legacy Stacy and Bailey hope to create—one beautiful glass, shared story, and lasting memory at a time.
