There are some people whose presence simply can't be replaced, and Donna Knott was one of them. She was the heart of so many of our memories—the one who made us laugh until our sides hurt, turned up the music so everyone could enjoy the moment, and loved on our babies as if they were her own.
If you knew Donna, you also knew how wonderfully stubborn she could be. Once she had her mind made up, there was no changing it. That strength, determination, and feisty spirit were just part of what made us love her so much.
The greatest love of her life was her husband. The devotion she had for him was beautiful and unwavering, a love that everyone could see and admire.
The cottage will never be the same without your laughter echoing through the rooms, your music filling the air, and your love. Our hearts are broken, but we find peace knowing you are dancing with the angels, reunited with your mom, your grandma (Aunt Dor), Aunt Florence, your best friend Aunt Melissa, and all those who were waiting to welcome you at the Pearly Gates.
Donna, thank you for every laugh, every hug, every song, and every memory. You have left an imprint on all of our hearts that time can never erase. We will miss you every day, more than words could ever express.
Rest in peace, Donna. Keep dancing, keep smiling, and keep watching over all of us until the day we're together again. You will always be loved, forever missed, and never, ever forgotten.
