We are officially counting down to the 2026 season at First Roots Farm (and we know you are too!)

Here is how the summer is shaping up:

• Early June: June CSA Subscriptions begin.
• July 18th: we’re kicking off our first public uPick of the summer with a vendor market!
• Summer & Fall: Micro Mini Photography sessions are now open for booking.

Flower crown season is back!

Two dates this summer. One evening each.

Golden hour in the fields, fresh blooms from the farm, and a handmade crown you actually get to wear out of here.

No experience needed — we walk you through everything. You pick your stems from the bloom bar, build your crown, and then head into the fields for your mini session. Two edited photos included.

Add a uPick bouquet and you’re walking out with flowers in your hair and flowers in your hands.

Our Micro Mini Photography Sessions+ uPick Events are back 🌸

These are scheduled group events where each family, couple, or group gets their own dedicated time in front of the camera with one of our featured photographers — all surrounded by the flower fields at First Roots Farm.

You’ll pick flowers, wander the fields, and leave with both a bouquet and photos you’ll actually want to print.

Each event has its own setup and photographer, so every date feels completely different:

Some memories deserve more than a spot on your camera roll!

Our Petals & a Pony Micro Mini is all about capturing the pure joy of childhood against the backdrop of our Oconomowoc flower farm.

On July 25th, your children can experience the magic of meeting a pony right in the heart of our flower rows.
