Itani Ramen is an izakaya for everyone. As the second restaurant from Chef Kyle Itani (Hopscotch, Nikkei Sushi, & Thistle Meats), Itani Ramen offers Uptown Oakland delicious ramen, rice bowls, sushi, and housemade gyoza alongside cocktails, sake, and an extensive selection of Japanese whisky. Located at 1736 Telegraph Avenue, across the street from the Fox Theater, Itani Ramen is open daily for for dine-in, takeout, and delivery from 11:30am-9:30pm every day. 10 YEARS! 🍜 This Saturday we are celebrating 10 years in Oakland and this week we are letting ourselves get a little nostalgic.

The first photo was taken the year before we opened, Oct. 2015. It’s proof that Kyle built this place from scratch – with help from some very wise friends & partners, and thoughtful design by . Wouldn’t be here without each & every one of them.

315 Dungeness Crabs 🦀 secured for our First Annual ITANI Crab Feed! Kyle bought out two local boats and had a fun adventure getting 528lbs of live crabs back to Itani Ramen in Oakland. All three of our all you can eat crab feed dinners are sold out this week but we will have another opportunity to get your Dungeness fix very soon!
