Wisdom's "Beat Sauce Radio" was an award winning commercial-free Hip-Hop radio show that aired weekly on KUSF 90.3 FM in San Francisco from 1994-2008. A staple at the famed Deco, Smoove, & Dub Mission parties, this East Coast native will be making the trip to the East Bay to curate a special Hump Day, Posterior shaking set that is not to be missed.

Founder of the All Purpose DJs, True Justice was recently inducted into the Bay Area Hip Hop Archives for his outstanding service as The Bay Area's Most Exciting DJ. From Old School to the Global Afro Beats, this DJ will take you on a journey like only he can.

When Oscar Grant was killed by police, at Luka’s we had some deep and painful conversations. We were collectively outraged, hurt and grieving. Not everyone thought it was intentional, you can guess who was on which side.

I asked one simple question. At what age was your first encounter with a police officer? Our Black staff and customers listed 4 years old, 6 years, nothing over 8. It was often a violent arrest of a family member. Our white staff either had minor encounters while doing stupid s**t as teenagers or traffic tickets. People came across the dining room to participate. We yelled, but not at each other. This simple question showed how deeply white privilege shapes our perspectives.

This is a hard, but important story to read. Institutionalized racism that is traumatizing our Black and Brown community is every police department in America. It must stop.

Artfully show the impact of this trauma from a woman’s perspective. We are humbled and honored to be included in season two and stand with them challenging racist driven incarceration of our Black community.
