This week: it's the annual Bank Robbery Prevention Convention here in Northfield! Come on down to Immy if you're craving a relaxed vibe! Noris Cuisine is slinging Latin Fusion Nosh Thursday-Saturday, and Little Frida is serving up yummy Mexican food Friday through Sunday! Both vendors will be set up on Sixth Street. Sunday we offer parade-adjacent seating, and we're looking forward to another visit from MN Pipes and Drums!

And...We're happy to be on tap next door at Armory Square along with our other Fermentation Friends Thursday through Saturday, and there'll be live music with a ton of amazing local musicians you know and love!

A long overdue extension of gratitude to our friends Alfonso, Maria and Junior who came to us a while ago and asked if they could hold an origami club within our walls once a month! My only request in return was that they call it "The Fold." 🤭 Anyone of any experience level with origami is invited to join this sweet club, which meets on the first Sunday of the month. A fun way to meet new people is right at your fingertips! 🤭 Come join us for a quick lesson on how to fold something new, or just fold your own styles in a growing community of Origami enthusiasts. All ages are welcome - grown-ups, please accompany your kiddos!

Congratulations and Thank You to our dear friend Anna Graves! Her vinyl record releases TODAY so even if you're already streaming that goodness nonstop, it's time to get the real deal (ideally at your local independent record store or straight from Rounders)!

Had to recreate this actual moment that happened yesterday when Pepperoni and I wandered into Verbena Vinyl at the very moment Vicki was unboxing this incredible album. We scared the dog (and a certain Queenie in the back) twice but it was totally worth it.

Anna, dahling, we adore you and are so perpetually proud of your persistence in a tough biz and world, and we're proud that you keep on being such a kind-hearted, generous soul. Thank you for making a surprise appearance last week at Immy -- and thank you, neighbors for showing UP that night. Hey hey all you Bluebirds out there, we have a little surprise for you. A certain Songbird friend of ours is back in town. She's been on our minds (and apparently we've been on hers, too, Minnesota 😉), especially with the recent release of her exquisite album, "America's Greatest Burnout." We're so damn proud of her persistence (her mama didn't raise no quitter, baby), and we're so Damn in Love with this local star's thoughtful lyrics and homegrown melodies that reflect life in our neck of the prairie. And we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to send her off on her upcoming tour with all the warmth a hometown should, so Fly on down tomorrow night and help us give her some Northfield love! This opportunity is a Goldmine, folks, so don't take it for Granted, and don't take The Long Way down - she's only playing a short set, starting around 7 pm! Come on down to Immy tomorrow night to say hey to Northfield's own Star of Americana, ANNA GRAVES!!!
