Bistro 83 is excited to welcome Sean Kerrigan as our new Executive Chef! Sean has been in and around the restaurant industry for almost his entire life. His Mom managed some of the best restaurants in Cleveland including Fat Fish Blues. He started working in kitchens at the age of 18 when he and his Mom moved to Pennsylvania where Sean attended culinary school.

Sean has worked for the most renowned chefs in Cleveland including Michael Symon, John Kolar, Fabio Salerno, Jonathan Bennett and Michael Tolosa. He has managed kitchens for some of the best restaurants in Cleveland including as Chef De Cuisine at Red The Steakhouse and Executive Chef at Urban Farmer. Most recently Sean was Executive Chef at Lago East Bank. Sean and his restaurants have won 13 Silver Spoon Awards most recently in 2024 and 2025 at Lago.

Sean is a homegrown chef, who likes to use local ingredients and whose career is deeply rooted in the Cleveland restaurant scene. Bistro 83 is Sean’s first kitchen outside of downtown Cleveland. His goal is to bring a downtown experience to Bistro 83 that has already built a strong connection with its local community, including with Sean’s parents who are regulars at the restaurant. Sean will be working on a new menu that is unique, yet approachable for our customers, both old and new, with the goal of making Bistro 83 and North Ridgeville dining destinations for foodies across Cleveland.

Sean resides in Bay Village with his wife and 3 beautiful children. Sean’s son suffers from celiac disease, which heavily influences how he creates his menus. His menu will have something for everyone while still offering a unique experience for the community that Sean cherishes.

On September 16, we’re bringing together three people who make this kind of evening worth sitting down for.

Join us for a 5-course Italian-inspired dinner with w**es from w**emaker Nicola Biscardo, throughout the evening.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from our Head Chef, Joshua Ocasio, and our new Executive Chef, Sean Kerrigan, as they introduce the thinking behind the evening’s menu and how each course comes together with Nicola’s w**es.

Only 24 seats are available, making this a small, conversational dinner rather than a typical night out.
