💜🩵 September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month 🩵💜
This month, VFW Post 9871 is helping raise awareness, start conversations, and remind our veterans, members, families, and friends that there is always someone willing to listen and help.
We have set up a Su***de Prevention Awareness & Veterans Resource Table at the Post with information and resources from organizations that support veterans and their families. We also have awareness ribbons, wristbands, pins, keychains, cards, and other items available to help spread the message.
Our goal is simple: make resources visible, encourage conversation, and remind people that asking for help is a sign of strength.
💜🩵 You matter. Your story isn’t over. Choose to stay.
Sometimes one conversation, one resource, or one person reaching out can make a difference.
Please stop by the table, pick up some information, take an awareness item, and help us spread the word throughout September.

September is su***de awareness month and in memory of Dave Carleton, we will be planning events and information all month long raising money for su***de prevention. Our first batch of shirts will be available tomorrow and we have a walk planned for Sept 6th at 1pm. Together we can help. Reach out and start a conversation.
