Somebody got to the last Double Trouble PB Choco Chip Cookie before we did. 💀

Can't say we blame them. Chewy peanut butter cookie, loaded with chocolate chips and candy coated peanut butter pieces. We'd come back for it too.

I've had a few times in my life when my body just shut down and I couldn't eat. Not "I'm not hungry." I mean I literally couldn't.

I was a single mom, my family lived out of state, and my support system was pretty small. But I had an amazing friend who would show up. She'd bring me something to eat and sit with me, and somehow, when we were together, I could eat.

She didn't have to fix anything. She just showed up. I've never forgotten it.

I started baking for people going through a tough time, and eventually it turned into Little Miss Moffitt and Hugs Disguised as Cookies™. Sometimes a cookie is more than a cookie. It can say "I'm thinking about you."

Who do you know who could use a hug today? Maybe you can be the person who shows up. And if they're too far away for a real one, send them a Hug Disguised as a Cookie™. 💛
