You have finally found it! Welcome to Down the Hatch, a legendary underground Greenwich Village institution that has given our loyal followers a damn good reason to party for the last two decades and counting. Hip, cool, young, rocking — these are a few words that come to mind when describing the scene at Down the Hatch. Our basement bar offers a dog's eye view of historic West 4th Street, our Atomic Wings were voted Best Wings NYC, and our “too good to be true” drink specials are a dirt-cheap reason to party. Celebrate your birthday, graduation, after work happy hour - do you really need an excuse to have a party at Down the Hatch? Our famous wings, along with our extensive menu which includes burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches and more, will satisfy everyone's appetite. We’re also one of Greenwich Village’s most popular sports bars, so you can cheer on your favorite sports team on our 11 flat screen HDTV’s. Yes, it's the ultimate college bar. Yes, Atomic Wings runs the kitchen. And yes, this bar has that feeling we all want when we go out — "It" is happening here. Whatever "It" is, rest assured, it's at Down the Hatch. And if you're not, well… you're missing out. What you see is what you get with us.
