Let me tell you a story about one Sunday afternoon as was a common occurrence at the old B-side, Sean Welsh & Joel Rodriguez were having a conversation about what to do with Mondays since they were vacated by our beloved Anthony Marino.
The thought was always to have someone who could reflect some of the old East Village culture, a rocker chick maybe; someone with some attitude but graceful behind the bar.. Musical background & tattoos of course, because why not?!
Sure enough, not even 15 mins later, who has one of the coldest resume drop offs in the history of resumes??

Off a mean ass bike and in all black to match, they walk through the door and check all the boxes!
Conceptually, as owners or entrepreneurs you agonize over the identity of your business, especially when you’ve inherited something like B-side. Cass was part of securing that part of our story for us.
Every step of the way, from 204 Ave B to 131 Ave C they’ve been there for us. Never quitting through the highs and the lows.
Now, family calls and we’re just feeling nostalgic.
Come and show some love tonite for Cass’ last shift at B-side.
