Saturday September 30th we will gather to celebrate for what would have been his 52nd birthday. We will Party House of Freaks style with entertainment provided by Alaska Lostboy Djs Big Lee's Gogos .lethalkit and friends a party to end all parties for the man who was larger than life we will celebrate. It is with much sadness that I announce after this date The Hard Swallow as owned and operated by Big Lee and Sasha will close its doors. New ownership is being negotiated but my husband's bar will no longer be. I want to thank everyone who has been of our story. Know that this is not what I wanted to do but what is necessary for my family to heal from this tremendous loss. I love you all so much and the out pour of love from all of you has been Amazing so join me one last time to lift a Glass to Big Lee and celebrate like only he could with an ALL Star Hard Swallow production. One last time... see you then

My husband's service was beautiful and uplifting because so many of you stood up and honored his last wish to celebrate with stories love and laughter. My only regret is that I didn't audio record your beautiful memories. So I'm asking you now if you would be so kind film a video reel of yourself sharing moment that's special to you or just cheering him with a shot and hastag for me using a personal memoir will be filmed and your messages incorporated to remind our family of how much he meant to everyone. Feel free to share photos and video using the hashtag as well. So his sons can look back and be proud of the great man their father and my husband was to so many. It would mean the world to us. If you come in to the bar we can film it on site. Thank you again for all the love.

A funeral service has been scheduled for Tomorrow Sunday, July 23rd, 2023, from 4pm-8pm at:
Provenzano Lanza Funeral home
43 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003.

My Husband a celebration. After the service we will gather at The Hard Swallow for his repass. Lee was not a traditional man he wanted a party so will spin Lee's favorite tunes and Pixie and Lethal Kit will dance for him. We will laugh and tell stories and celebrate him the way he wanted. At midnight I will release a dove to let his spirit fly.

If you can not attend i kindly ask that where ever you are please raise a glass think of Lee and toast his spirit. Help me lift him. Thank you all for your kindess, thoughts, and generosity. I will never forget the love and affection you all have for my beautiful husband. Thank you

Last Friday, July 14th, 2023, my husband, my love, Big Lee Lloyd, died of Hypertensive Cardiac Arrest.
Our sons and I are destroyed by the immense pain of our grief. We ask for space and kindness at this time while we sort out his affairs. The bar, The Hard Swallow, will remain open while we navigate this new reality.
I want to thank all my friends and family who have been a part of our lives. My husband was an incredibly beautiful man who filled my life and my heart with love and joy. We've met so many people over the last 17yrs together and shared so many memories and experiences, even though this is the most painful thing I have ever had to do. I am so grateful to Lee for the love and family we shared, and I am so grateful to all of you for being a part of the most precious memories of our lives. If you have photos, please share them with me. They make me smile, looking at his pretty face. My heart is Broken. I will miss my love.
In lieu of flowers, and since Lee will be cremated, we ask that you consider donating to the Gofundme set up by a family friend to help us cover the funeral expenses and the transition of this loss. We appreciate you all and will see you soon to celebrate Big Lee.
