Simply finish your first sip of Guinness with the black landing exactly on the white line around the middle of the glass. Nail it, and your pint is on the house.

Earlier this week, we took over their newly renovated Greenpoint bar and brewery as part of the Summer Guest Series, serving drinks alongside food from Grand Army.

It’s July 19th, and you’re heading to The Irish Exit for the World Cup Final. It’s roasting, you’re excited, and you’re planning on sinking a few pints.

So what are we eating? We’re surrounded by some class food vendors, including CHOPT, H&H Bagels, burger joint, and plenty more - but for Dave, there’s only one answer - E.A.K. Ramen.

He’s getting a shoyu bowl with a seasoned egg, washed down with a pint of Silent Departure - the crisp, clean lager brewed exclusively for us by Threes Brewing.

He can't use chopsticks to save his life... but that’s never stopped him.

One week, four games, four teams.

It all comes down to Argentina, France, England, and Spain - yep, even the rowing couldn’t save Norway.

The World Cup semi-finals begin next Tuesday with France vs Spain, then it’s England vs Argentina on Wednesday, before the big ones on the weekend. Watch it all with yours truly, pints in hand.
